Introduction
NZON is a cross-platform hiking trip platform built to connect outdoor enthusiasts with certified local guides. Developed using React Native for the mobile app and powered by custom backend APIs, the system also includes a feature-rich admin dashboard for trip management and user verification.

The Challenge
NZON set out to simplify the process of organizing and booking hiking trips — a task that required not just user-friendly booking flows but also secure payment handling, mountain guide pairing (MGP), and a certification approval system. The platform had to accommodate both casual users and certified guides, while maintaining safety, trust, and operational clarity for admins.
The Solution
I developed the full backend architecture and API, managed the infrastructure setup, and built a cross-platform mobile app using React Native. Key features include a secure trip booking and joining system, payment gateway integration, and a complete MGP management flow — from certification review to real-time trip assignments. I also delivered a clean, intuitive admin dashboard to streamline approvals and monitor platform activity.
